The fee includes the textbook, USPS priority mailing, and handling.
Note: (a) The TI-83/84 textbook ($40/TI) is the same for all courses that use the TI-83+/84+ graphing calculator and you only need to purchase one textbook if you sign up for multiple TI-83/84 courses.
(b) The EXCEL textbook ($50/EX) is the same for both EXCEL courses and you only need to purchase one textbook if you sign up for both courses.

Grading System:                                                                                                                                                                                           CI 808/810 Courses: A - F                                                                                                                                                                        MTH 810 Courses: A - F

Credit Applicability:
If you wish to apply the credit toward graduate mathematics requirements/elective credits for eligibility to teach college-level mathematics consult with the respective community college/college/university PRIOR to enrolling for credit. It is the discretion of the respective educational institution to apply these credits and the responsibility of the student to verify acceptance of these credits toward this requirement prior to enrollment.

If you wish to apply the credit toward an advanced degree, consult with your academic advisor/college to verify the course will apply to your program prior to enrolling for credit.

If you wish to apply the credit toward certificate renewal, state continuing education requirements and/or lane change requirements, contact your state's Department of Education or community college/college/university to verify the course will count toward licensure/certificate renewal or lane change requirements prior to enrolling for credit. Acceptance of credits varies by state.

Credit Equivalency:                                                                                                                                                                                     Quarter graduate credits transfer to an institution on semester hours according to the institution's semester equivalency. Most colleges/universities convert quarter graduate credits to semester graduate credits using a conversion factor of 2/3, i.e. 3 quarter graduate credits are equivalent to 2 semester graduate credits.

IMPORTANT: PSU limits enrollment to 8 quarter credits per term unless officially admitted to PSU (except Summer term when enrollment is limited to 16 quarter graduate credits). See www.pdx.edu for more information.

State Approval                                                                                                                                                                                                    PSU has received authorization or is exempt from authorization in all US states except Arkansas. Residents from a state where PSU has decided not to submit a request for authorization due to high and restrictive fees, should not submit an application for admission to the University. Residents of this state may contact the Center for Online Learning at author@pdx.edu for more information. Information regarding state approval is available at http://www.pdx.edu/psuonline/state-authorization
